It's finally senior year! And Clara wanted to capture her journey in a way that truly reflected her personality. As a photographer, it was my goal to not only take photos but to create an experience she would remember for years to come. Clara’s senior picture session was more than just snapping shots—it was about showcasing her unique story!

Pre-Session Planning: Getting to Know Clara
Before the big day, I spent some time chatting with Clara and her family. I've actually had Clara as a student in my photography class so it was fun getting to know her and her family more! Our conversation helped me shape the vision for her session, so we could create a variety of looks and settings that were true to her style.
We decided on three main themes:
- Athletic: Clara love bowling and is on track to receive college scholarships. We just had to include shots at the local bowling alley!
- Urban Casual: A modern, city-inspired look to capture her casual carefree side.
- Flowery Elegance: A touch of glam at a local flower farm, because every girl loves an excuse to get dressed up!
The Day of the Shoot
We started Clara's day at Spare Time Lanes in downtown Kennewick. Clara brought her letterman's jacket and an athletic look. Her bright smile and carefree attitude made these shots some of my favorites. We also played around with some colored lights to make a dramatic look. It was so much fun!
Stop number 2
After a quick lunch break and hair touch up, we headed to The Public Market in downtown Kennewick. There are super cute shops in an industrial style building that makes for the perfect urban chic location! Clara went with jeans and a flowy top for a casual cute look. These natural light photos are to die for!
Haven Flower Farm
There is an amazing family farm in Kennewick that allows photographers to shoot in their flower fields! Clara went full glam with a touch of fun. The sunflower sunglasses showed off her easy-going personality! We laughed, we spun, we shot until the sun went down!
Thank you for trusting me with your senior photos, Clara!
